A retired San Francisco firefighter who spent more than a decade protecting the city has died after months of fighting not only stage 4 lung cancer but also his own health insurance company.
Insurance companies are just lge black holes where your money is sacrificed for your health, & as long as you stay healthy they like you. Then, you get sick & some pen pusher with little or no medical training decides if you live &/or are denied treatment. What a bloody world we live in these days, where a first responder can’t get medication, if not to save his life, then to make his last days comfortable. From the richest nation of all time, WTF
