ICE Shot a Woman in the Face and Killed Her
The feds claim that Renee had tried to “run over immigration agents with her car,” even though multiple videos taken by bystanders from the scene tell a different story. They show ICE approaching a car in the middle of the street, and a person inside the car who tried to drive off. One of the feds points his gun at the driver and shoots.
The Democratic Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, hosted a press conference soon after, looked straight at the camera, and told ICE to “Get the fuck out of Minneapolis”.
In response, Trump posted on Truth Social that an ICE officer was “viciously” run over. Then he proceeded to say, “It is hard to believe he is alive, but he is now recovering in the hospital.”
Renee was unarmed, and the officer is also seen running away after he shot her. Not sure what he’s healing from or who ran him over, but multiple different-angle videos of the scene show her trying to drive away, leaving the officers unharmed.
According to Minneapolis police Chief Brian O’Hara, the driver was in her vehicle blocking the roadway on Portland Avenue. She was then approached by the feds, who walked up to her car, and that’s when she began to drive off. My best guess? She probably panicked and was in the wrong place at the wrong time (even though every American should be given the pathway to just leave a scene without getting shot in the face, but I digress).
Kristi Noem went on to say that the woman was “stalking and impeding” officers throughout the day and tried to “weaponize her vehicle” in an attempt to run over the officer, alluding to “domestic terrorism”. According to her, the fed fired “defensive shots” and was injured himself.
Minneapolis City Council rebutted and said that Renee was just simply “caring for her neighbors” when the shooting occurred.
The scene of this shooting was just a mile away from where George Floyd was murdered in 2020 by a city police officer, which sparked a global movement. Protests erupted across Minneapolis and other metropolitan cities in the US last night, marking the public’s outrage over this shooting.
The Trump administration has deployed an additional 2,000 federal agents to the Minneapolis area in the past couple of weeks to fight “welfare fraud” in the state.
In addition to showing no proof of this, Trump has also withheld federal childcare funds from the state of Minnesota.
Renee Nicole Good’s death is not an isolated tragedy; it’s the predictable outcome of an immigration enforcement that treats panic as criminal intent and movement as a death sentence. Despite clear video evidence contradicting federal claims, officials rushed to construct a narrative of violence and “domestic terrorism” to justify the use of lethal force against an unarmed U.S. citizen. In doing so, they relied on the same playbook we’ve seen before: inflate threats, suppress evidence, and demand public trust without accountability.
That this happened just miles from where George Floyd was murdered is not lost on Minneapolis or the country. The deployment of thousands of federal agents, the withholding of essential childcare funds, and the immediate political misinformation that followed the shooting point to a federal government more interested in control and punishment than truth or public safety.
Until there is transparency, independent investigation, and real consequences for officers who kill without cause, these deaths will continue, and so will the public’s refusal to stay silent.

Here's my analysis of this horrible and avoidable killing. I watched a couple videos several times and read other stories about this incident. There is no proof she was heckling ICE "officers," much less trying to drive over one. Even if she were, was it rational and reasonable to execute her?
Local residents said she lived on that street and was doing something for a neighbor. So the more rational explanation is she was going down the street, saw the ICE vehicles stopped, so she stopped. To me, she appeared in the videos to be trying to turn around and go back. Two agents approach her window, and another one suddenly appears out of nowhere in front of her car. She backs up a few feet and was barely moving forward. I listened to her heart-rending screams, "NO, NO," which were the apparently cut out of much news coverage. He's only a few feet away and shoots her in the face, from appearances instantly killing her. He quickly walks off. He and the other agents don't even bother to check her.
If this isn't a key example of America becoming a police state, what is? And are wonderful leadership claims the officers have full immunity. Will it even be investigated?
Make no mistake. They might not have known who the victim would be in advance, but ICE has escalated to murder in Minnesota on purpose. Here’s why:
