Having poor boundaries is one reason that abuse victims stay with the abuser. Now it seems that the abuser has found someone to make demands on his behalf, that the entire country should have poor boundaries, and not break up with him?

He came here as a child, he served this country, his PTSD caused him to do terrible shit (allegedly), he still has rights under the constitution and being sexually assaulted in an ICE detention isn’t on the bingo card.

As well, somewhere his citizenship is described as just never having sort of *happened*, but citizenship doesn't just *happen*, it has to be applied for and then there is a decision.
